Infant & Child CPR & Choking class

 The class was fantastic!
We have all spoken about it many times since, and we are all so pleased with all that we learned.
The class definitely met our needs and I think there was adequate time to cover everything.
The best part was having it here at my home with only a few people so that we could ask all of our questions without feeling like we were taking up too much time, feeling embarrassed, etc.
It really was great - thank you so much!

I needed an immediate CPR & First Aid certification to fulfill a job requirement. I searched on-line and locally, but couldn't find a class that suited my need. I found Baby Zone & Beyond and contacted Geraldine. She set up a class and within days I had my CPR/First Aid card in my hands. I would highly recommend these certification classes.

Marc and I wanted to send you a belated thanks for the recent CPR training you did with us, back in late August. We were left with a big sense of relief and more knowledge should anything ever happen, not to mention, what we can do to prevent and lessen an incident. We had lunch at the house after the class and the overall sentiment was that it was a terrific class.  As much as everyone hopes they will never have to use anything we learned, everyone thought it was an extremely worthwhile class and were glad they came.  You did a great job reinforcing the steps over and over and that was very important to everyone.

Hi Geraldine,

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you AGAIN for your course.  Since taking your course in January, my now 22 month old toddler has choked twice.  The most recent time was earlier today, on a hot dog.  Thankfully, each time I was right there, and within seconds the situation was resolved and I was able to remain (relatively) calm.  I keep thinking how glad we were to have taken your program.    

Hope all is well on your end.  We're doing well here with two babies.  The 'new addition' is now 7 months old and starting solids, so I'm sure these lessons will come in handy with her as well.  As always, I hope I won't need to use them again, but you can never be too prepared.  My husband said he wants to watch the video again as a refresher!

Thanks to Geraldine’s gas massage, my baby Derek always has a happy belly!  If his tummy ever looks a bit bloated or if he is ever fussy in the middle of the night, I use the gas massage, and instantly, Derek is relieving gas and feeling much better!  He loves it!

 

My family and I also really learned a lot from Geraldine’s baby/infant CPR class.  We especially liked the convenience of having the class in our own home.  We feel confident that we would be able to act accordingly in an emergency situation.

The class was great. It was precisely what we needed, and I know we're all feeling more confident in our ability to care for our little ones (and each other). In fact, we had Ken's family over for dinner yesterday, and his grandpa choked on his water. He coughed, so we let him work it out, but later we both said that we were ready for action if we needed to be.

Dear Geraldine,

We just want to thank you again for coming over and instructing us. We feel so much better having taken the course.

In fact, a few days ago our daughter, Effie, was choking on a potato chip (that I made the mistake of letting her have small pieces of). She was quiet and making a strange face. It was very scary, but I immediately sprung into action and within seconds the chip was on the floor and she was making noise again, crying from the commotion. Within moments, she was happily playing again.

You did a great job and we've already mentioned your name to friends.

My due date is approaching in about 10 days for number 2, and although we hope we'll never need to use the info you taught us, we feel much better prepared parents this time around.

Thank you Geraldine for your wonderful CPR class.  I can not imagine having a child and not doing it, especially as they begin to feed and move around!  I immediately felt more relaxed and confident knowing what to NOT worry about and what to do if something terrible does strike. Having the video is a GREAT.  I finally watched it after several weeks as the memory does fade, so I plan to watch it again and again.  It's like having another lesson with you.  You were very professional, warm and caring.  You know your CPR and I highly recommend you to everyone I know with children.

Your notes that you left for us were so useful and the lamination is a great idea.  I wouldn't change a thing!!  It was much better than the class I took through the Red Cross.  I have already passed your name on to several friends!

Thank you again for a very informative and helpful session on Saturday.  It is very empowering to now know that we can help a child in distress.....my husband who usually rolls his eyes when i sign him up for "classes" - thanked me because he said he would never have done this and feels so much better knowing what to do. 

We will practice on Will's teddy bear to keep it fresh - but wanted you to know it was a great experience and i would highly recommend to my friends.
